Massage Therapy Cancellation Policy

At Five Dances Wellness, your appointment time is reserved especially for you. We understand that life happens and schedules sometimes change. To be respectful of our therapists’ time and other clients who may be waiting for an appointment, we kindly ask that you provide as much notice as possible when you need to cancel or reschedule.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
- 24 hours or more notice: You may cancel or reschedule your appointment at no charge. Cancellation requests may be given by phone voicemail, text or email. You must designate all appointments to be cancelled or rescheduled- acupuncture, massage, sauna etc.
- Less than 24 hours notice, INCLUDING Same-day cancellations or no-shows: The full service fee WILL be charged. If your session was prepaid, we do not offer any refunds for late cancellations. At the owner and massage therapist’s discretion, a credit may be applied to a future session.
- If you arrive late, your session may need to end at the originally scheduled time so that we can stay on schedule. The full service fee will still apply.
Emergencies & Unexpected Circumstances
We understand that emergencies and unexpected situations can occur. Cancellation fees may be waived at the discretion of Five Dances Wellness when circumstances warrant. Emergencies include: emergency medical treatment for yourself or a loved one, death in the family or other MAJOR emergency. Our massage therapists commute a significant distance to provide service and are paid for no show, no call appointments. Please respect their time!
Appointment Confirmation
Please make sure we have your current phone number and email address so we can send appointment reminders and reach you if needed. Receiving a reminder does not replace the responsibility to cancel or reschedule within the required notice period. Replying to reminders via text does NOT constitute notice of cancellation under this policy- only texts to our office number at 301 834 7411 are received by us.
